Our Standard Vaccine Timelines for Puppies and Kittens
It’s important to begin your puppy or kitten’s vaccinations as soon as possible, which is typically around 6-8 weeks old.
Puppies
For their initial boosters, your puppy needs to come in every 3-4 weeks until they are 16 weeks old for their distemper boosters. The rabies vaccine is typically given around 12-15 weeks. Some of your dog’s vaccines will be given yearly going forward, while others may be recommended multi-yearly.
Kittens
As with puppies, kittens need to see their vet every 3-4 weeks for their FVRCP boosters. They can get their rabies vaccine at about 16 weeks old.
